Question fender well wire

Wondering if someone could shed some light on what these wires are for. They are on the back side of the plastic inner fender driver and passenger side. I found them this morning while mounting my new off of 2011 nerf bars.

Thanks
armstrong

Do you have ABS on the front wheels? That looks like the connector for the ABS harness.

Looks like an ABS lead to me as well.
Is that oil on the frame?

No abs. I thought about abs also, but thought that would be running beside the vac line for the hubs. I undercoated the truck with Fluid Film soon as it arrived from Texas.

Your truck probably has ABS, someone just replaced the hubs with non ABS. Exactly how my truck is.

If the sensors are removed, wouldn't that cause the ABS light to come on?

The window sticker is in the glove box, does not say anything about ABS. Would it be on the window sticker, I would think so if it is an option.

cool....used the same loom, to run/power my gauges. Kept it clean, and not a darn birdnest, of wires, everywhere.

Not sure tell you the truth. Didn't on my truck, they've been gone for years.

For 2000 model year, front wheel ABS was optional on XL and XLT and standard on Lariat. Your truck probably didn't come with front wheel ABS from the factory then.

My money is still on-looks like ABS. My light comes on when disconnected.
