79 f250 4x4 front axle tag I.D.
I'm taking a break right now from getting my engine ready to pull and so I was under the truck pulling the fuel line off the pump and decided to check my front axle diff cover tag and the like number and the right bottom coner of the diff.
The code at the bottom right is C38
The tag on the diff cover reads
09 D9TA AZA 610069-4
Can you guys give me some info about my front axle?
I don't know if this helps or not but I do have power steering and I do have a sway bar.

All 78/79 F250s have high pinion front axles, that is a good thing.
It is stronger, gives more ground clearance and better driveshaft angles.
