My local diesel shop rebuilt me a set of A code injectors for 250 bucks. they had the o rings and washers installed. I like dealing with them because if you have any questions they can usually answer them and they can build you bigger ones if you feel the want. When you do change them get a gun cleaning rod with a 12ga bore brush and put it in a drill and use it to clean the injector bores before putting the news ones in it will make sure the washers seal. As far as the ip i have never bought one. What is wrong with the pump and injectors? they seem like expensive parts to replace just because.

well my truck has 258,000 on it on original pump and injectors.. I turned it up a little about a month ago and my fuel system slowly failed .. my GPs are shot I mean the truck gets seriously neglected and gets raped everytime I drive it because all I do is work it . I guess thats what I get when we have 6 inches of snow and 40mph winds and cant plow

i think for the most part yes. whatever pump you get just get the injectors to match. if you want to replace what you have the injector 'code' is on one face the hex part of the injector. and the tag on the ip is on the passerger side of the pump. id go shopping withthose numbers first because the HA motors had different fuel systems that made less power and none of us want that.

As long as it's rated for fuel, then any clear line should work, could probably get some at Orschlens or TSC.

Your truck couldn't have pick a better time to act up man lol

I just came across this so we are probably in the same boat. Just to be sure we can get that ebay pump listed above for our 6.9?

And then if you were to add a turbo you would have to get a different pump and injectors?

I got in on that uhaul sale for the injectors and got 8 nice ones for like $56 to the door, I couldn't pass it up. But I have come across a few posts talking about new injectors killing off pumps so I haven't installed them I think my truck is all original at 230,000 miles. Besides fuel line/air issues, I thought my truck was healthy because it does the job. I have heard some injectors knock before and I hit them with atf and it goes away for a while.

That would suck have a pump killed, but I kind of want to try it and post back

The 7.3 pump will work fine on your 6.9 if you put new injectors too. Its always better to have the pump professionally rebuilt by a diesel injection shop. They will tell you exactly what was wrong with it, they may be able to fix just whats wrong with it if you want to save some money. If you have a problem with it you can take it back to them and they will fix it.
