Where does this grounding cable go?

What is this supposed to be connected to?

Mine goes to the back of the head.
here is a pic of my motor out of the truck showing where it connects.
just ignore the text on the pic, it is the bolt just to the right of the fuel rail drain thats circled.

its a cab ground cable/wire...any bolt/stud you can get to with that terminal, thats off the block, would work. Its needed, since componants inside the cab are grounded to the cab, but since the cab is "suspended" do to mounts/bushings, its has nothing for ground. Thats where that cable comes into play.

Hmmmm what is that bolt for? When I replaced the fuel line that burst (the common clip-wearing-through fuel line near the top-back of the engine) I ended up with an extra bolt and could NOT remember where it went...

Is it a problem if I dont have that cable attached? Can I just put it back on the block anywhere? Or at least in the same region?

I would reinstall it. It has to be there for a reason.

I know the last time I drained my fuel rail on the pass side it was real easy to get to from underneath the truck. I would take a look from below.
