In the next year or so I want to fix the rust and repaint my 94. I will either keep the color combo I have or go with all black.
Question is, what is a good DURABLE paint that looks half decent?
I was thinking about some POR15 for the black, but don't know how well that would look. I pretty much have to sand all the Black paint off this pickup because it is blistered pretty bad.
Are you diy'ing it or having it done professionally? My Brother-in-law owns a body shop and uses Sikkens exclusivley. He says that it blends and matches very well when painting just parts of vehicles.
If you have the skills then you should be fine with Sikkens. It is just a base coat/clear coat paint and has been out for at least 15 years. I am by no means an expert.... But I did atay at an Holiday Inn Express last night.
