how much does 8 ft bed weigh?

I cant say fo sure but when i put the gooseneck hitch in mine 3 guys had no peoblem lifting it off and moving it to a set sawhorses. i cant see it being more then 350lbs based on what "my corner" felt like.

they are not terribly heavy just really awkward to carry. ive done it with just me and another guy and it was rough. if it was more ridgid i imagine we could do it no problem but it flexes terribly when lifted so i would suggest 4 guys. 1 for each corner and you could do it no problem at all

When we took the rusted bed off the Diesel truck, it was just me and my dad.
Wasn't as heavy as we taught it be.
It is awkward to carry, only real place to grab hold of it is the fenders, and well, my box had kind of a lack of fenders, especially the drivers side.

i'd say 400lbs.. we lifted the front and back seperatly and slid 2X2 steel 12' long tubes under the bottom of the bed... one front and one back 4 guys and walked it off one truck across the yard and onto the other, its all gravy..
