2005 PSD INTERCOOLER
2005 PSD INTERCOOLER, would this be good to pick up for $100 for future use in my 97? The add said it had 20K miles on it. I know I would still need a bunch of other stuff but this would be a start in collecting what I'll need.

What would be the process for pressure testing this 6.0 intercooler?
Just cap it and hook up pressure, (how much pressure) ? Leak test by submerging in a water tank, or do I need to have it professionally tested?

The easy test is to submerge it in water and look for bubbles after it settles in. I would think you'd hear any issues with only 20 psi of pressure, but going up to 40 or 50 psi shouldn't hurt anything. They're supposed to hold that much boost pressure.

i would get it i built my intercooler kit for 500 bucks, i got a 99 intercooler and pipes, banks turbo manifold and heads manifold then you just need some large hose clamps. i would pressure test the ting to atleats 40psi but i would not go past 50psi
