UPDATE

I have been running my a/c everyday this summer with no issues. I converted my fathers the same way right before this summer. It also has no issues. My truck cab stays cooler than my dads. His windows have no tint, where as my back window is limo and the front upper portion of my windshield is also limo. My side glass is one shade darker than legal. This cuts out a significant amount of sun. My leg and neck no longer bake while driving.
