I have a 2000, also with the VHS player. I bought a small home DVD player and place it under the front passenger seat. Use a small inverter for power and ran a cord to the external input of the VHS player. Works just fine. Did you happen to get the VHS player instructions with the truck? I didn't and would like to see one if you got one maybe I could get a copy? Anyway your truck looks awesome and should handle a 5000 lb trailer just fine. Good luck, John
