Coolant Temperature Range
So I've been reading all the post hollering that you better have 190* ECT or there is a problem & I wanted to share what I see with my 6.0 ...
In the winter (or cooler temperatures outside), my ECT is around 185*. I have heat (it will run you out) that builds quickly, etc. It rarely gets to 190* when it's cool out. Now, in the summer, I will see 190*-195* ECT's.
Is this in-line with what others experience? Is there an agreement that an ECT of 185* in cool weather is "OK" ... even with a 190* thermosat?
