Hey, anybody know of a good source for just a typical semi truck air horn or horns. I know about the train horns but the ones I have heard are either too shrill or just too loud. I'm looking for something just to supplement the standard horn for those occasional drivers that think they need to be difficult on the road. Thanks
They even have the horn that fire engines have! Once I get my radiator leak, hvac blower changed, get a new tonnaeu cover, and the fuel selector valve.... this is the upgrade!
I think those wolo horns are junk. I work in the heavy duty trucking industry and I wanted some horns for my truck also. I found the wolos and tried em.. extremely terrible. I ended up scrounging up two 24 inch trumpets to use.
Try to find a big truck salvage yard. You can usually find em there cheaply.
i have a single maybe 20 inch semi horn behind the grill of my 94. its so damn loud. i just dont have an air tank anymore. i got mine off my 86 freightliner. but i know in my nearest junkyard, theres a few semis sittin in the back that have horns on them. so id try a junkyard first to find a cheap used one.
