i just recieved some pictures of my truck that a friend so kindly took for me seeing how i'm 1100km away from it. the truck is going to need some love but it is very fixable. i am having problems decoding my paint code and tranny. i know the truck is an f-250 2 wheel drive, 300 inline 6, it was built in ontario, and it is the later 77, i am wondering about what the color of the truck is actually called and what trans i have, i know it's a 4 speed but if i'm not mistaken there were 2 four speeds available, the t-18 and the new process. heres a pic of the vin tag , any help figuring these 2 mysterys out would be greatly appreciated,
thanks,
diesel-kid
thanks for that website jexes23, yes i have a few more pictures of the truck and i am hoping to recieve more soon. for some reason i am unable to post the pictures. can anybody help me out with this?
That's a very nice dent you have there. Not much salt in Alberta - consider yourself lucky! Here in Ontario, salt is eating your truck while you sleep...
I had a 77 similar to yours, but I had a 3 speed on the column. Same colour, too. I loved that truck, but it's living in Vancouver now - and it's new owner loves it too.
thanks for the compliments zenmaster, i am very proud to say i own a classic ford and can't wait to get it here to where i live and start working on it. i plan on freshening up the driveline and suspension with all new bushing, drag link, etc.. again thanks!
does anyone have any advice for me since i'm still new to having one of my own? i will take any advice i can get, i plan on doing the body work, the driveline is going to get freshened up with synthetics in everything. and maybe a 428cj down the road , any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!,
