a connection for getting a discount or some sort of coupon for a discount? I live in the Knoxville, TN area and would like to get the bed sprayed, but would also like to save a little money on it. Hook me up!
Thanks for the tip.....I have not seen that, but I will certainly look.
Oh my gosh, my mistake-- that's a promo from a specific Line-X dealer. Instead, this is from the Line-X web page where you can find a AAA promo and/or discounts from your local dealer:
I have had LINE-X on all 3 of my PSD's. I have heard that the factory spayed in liners are a lot more brittle than the LINE-X brand. I have also heard that LINE-X is the best one going with Rhino 2nd. I had ZERO problems with the last 3 and will have a LINE-X in my 2011 shortly after it arrives - whenever that is
I have had both line-x and rhino, line-x is by far the best. i love it. It held even when i was putting my snowmobile that is studded and had fresh carbides on the skis. I had some peeling issues with the rhino lining, almost like the bed wasn't prepped correctly before it was sprayed. But personally i had my new truck line-x'd, i like it better. You may want to talk with your salesman, he maybe able to hook you up with a contact at a line x dealer and extend their discount to you. My salesman did this for me when i was looking for a tonneau cover by reffering me to a local company my dealer uses, it did save me some money.
Some of you guys got great deals on your bedliners. I paid $450 after tax for the one on my '08. I'm planning on getting one done on this one soon, I just need to come up with the money. I've been trying to pay stuff off so I can get a boat, and the Line-X hasn't been the priority for me.
And Bigziff, Line-X has a lifetime warranty. Compared to the 3/36 with the truck, it seems that Line-X would be the better deal. Between my WD hitch clunking around back there, my 100-lb floor jack, and other various heavy chunks of metal, my '08 saw a lot of hard use. Never dented or chipped, it looked almost new when it was totalled out. I highly recommend it!
