EATC troubles - 2006 SD

The HVAC in the struck is blowing constantly. I've tried to find the method of putting the EATC in diagnostic mode with no success (hold the off and floor, off and defrost, then Auto). System just turns the A/C on.

Would anyone recommend just disconnecting the batteries for awhile? Would that reboot the EATC? Thanks.

my haynes manual lists the diagnostic mode as being off and floor, and then auto.

as for the eatc, whenever my fan doesn't work, i would mechanically agitate the sensor and the fan would start working.

EATC troubles - 2006 SD

Thanks for the advice. I did get the EATC to behave by disconnecting the batteries for an hour, or so. When I turned on the key after reconnecting the batteries, the fan did blow for about 10 secs then turned off. It's been ok for the past week.
