I'm in the market for a 2011 F350, lariat, SRW, crew cab, short bed, FX4, 20 inch wheels, no roof clearance lights. I need to know the exact height so I know if it will fit in my garage or not. The only thing I can find is an F350 cc srw 4x4 w/o options = 81.8 inches tall. The only "options" I can think of that would change the height is the cab lights and possibly the 20 inch wheels? Like I said, I'm not getting the cab lights, but I am getting the 20's. Does anyone have one just like i'm looking at and/or know what the exact height would be? My dealer doesn't have a 350 srw or I'd just try it out. I'd really appreciate the help.
It is right around 79 or 80 if I remember correctly.
My garage is 82.5 tall... height without options is 81.8. Cutting it pretty dang close i know, but i need to know if the 20 inch wheels are going to raise it higher from the 81.8 or not.
I measured a bunch of trucks at the dealer yesterday because I am thinking about adding a lifting block to the rear of my truck, as for some reason the f250's sit exactly level with no load on them put a load on the back and sags big time.
the trucks with 20's were the highest, they are at least 1" higher than the other trucks with 18's on them.
Sorry - can't tell you the exact height but what I can tell you is that my last weeks purchase of an F350 crew LB with 20" wheels/tires rings the 7' clearance pipe with the radio antenae when I enter a parking ramp. And you also need a ladder and a long arm to wipe the cab and hood off when you wash 'em.

Aha! Someone with the same problem as me! I went through this agony when I was waiting for my truck that was on order. Here is the answer! I have a F350 configured exactly like your's but I have the roof clearance lights. I also have the snow plow package and I think it adds a little bit to the height.
My garage is 82 inches high and it fits by about 3/4 of an inch. It is so close that I crawl into the garage. I have a tile floor as well that raises it about another 1/2 inch. The biggest challenge I have is the hardware hanging down from the garage door opener. When the front wheels are in, the truck is actually slightly butt low due to the 1" lip inside the garage (this is the elevated floor to keep water out) and the 1/2" tiled floor. This allows the back of the roof to clear.
As was also mentioned, you need to make sure there is absolutely no snow built up around the entrance.
Guess what your real problem is going to be? The antennae. I have a string tied to it that I pull it down to get in without it rubbing the whole way in.
If you have a standard 7X8 foot door, you will also need to have the mirrors tucked in.
It has become such a chore for me that I am actually having my door widened. I am replacing it with a 10X10. Mirrors can stay out, no problems with snow built up.

Perfect! This is just what I was wanting to hear! Buying a $63000 truck and leaving it outside isn't an option for me. I really didn't want to "settle" for an F250 just so it would be shorter when an F350 fits my needs the best...
Not really much issue for snow build up here in east TN, but good reminder for if/when it does happen.

Amen brother! I hear ya. I was in the same boat. Unless they poured your concrete differently than mine, you should be good.
haven't read all the threads but go grab a truck from the lot that has the options you want and take it for a test drive to your house! My garage is 83" high and a F-350 with 20" wheels and roof clearance lights fits no problem. I always take it slow just in case .
I measured mine when I first bought it, so I would be prepared for parking garages, etc. Mine is 6'9". That's with the 20" wheels and the roof clearance lights.
Sounds like it'll work. My dealer just got a 350 king ranch in, so i'm going to try to bring it over to my garage sometime this week and try it out. Thanks for all the input.
