Considering an '03 4x4 - Thoughts, please
I am considering trading in my 2000 2WD F-250 SuperDuty in on an '03 F-150 4x4 with 140K miles. I am unfamiliar with the 4x4 system, or anything dealing with the 5.4 or this generation of 4x4 drivetrains. Any advice as to what to look for (other than the usual for a used vehicle) is greatly appreciated. I once had a '98 and liked it, and had to deal with heater cores and weak ball joints, but other than that it was a good truck, one of the best vehicles I have ever had.
