Thats Affirmative....

they go together like peanut butter n jelly. My engine was a 351M....Now its a 400. One of the main reasons for not dropping a 429 in there was the fact I can re-use the intake, headers and all accessories on the 400 since externally they are the same. IIRC....my whole rebuild (circa 1996) cost me $1200. Had machine shop do all the work I couldn't do, and I re-assembled everything myself. Just wish I knew about that T.Meyer fella back then....I would have sprung for the flattop pistons.

They are the same engine, only difference is pistons and crank. Everything that will bolt to the outside of a 351m will also bolt to a 400.

I don't believe there were any factory available four barrel intakes for the 351m/400. Unless the intake on your 351m is aluminum, there is a good chance it's a not a 351m.

The cams will swap but me personally I would not use an old cam in a different engine.

There were no factory 4bl setups on the 351M or 400.

I just bought an Edelbrock aluminum four barrell intake (351m-400)that has 1,000 miles on it......for $40.00. Guy swapped in a 460 and no use for the intake anymore. Its good to have friends....
