Hello all my brothers from different mothers! The truck in question is my namesake. Thank you for the help you've given me, really appreciated.
Now just a quick question that wont take up much time.
Where all in the fuel line would you place one way check valves to help prevent fuel drain-back?
Air intrusion is still present and i just wanna give it the middle finger yea know.
Before i forget i have been reading these forums for a while researching stuff, and trying to eliminate the air intrusion.
Thanks again guys for your guidance!
You have a manual lift pump right? Id put it between the lift pump and fuel filter. That way it should stay put right there. If you still have starting issues, then it is farther back. I reran my lines all the way from the switch on the frame rail to the fuel filter and then back down with the return with 5/16" rubber. Got rid of all my probs. Not that i would notice normally but i have a clear line from the filter header to the number one injector cap. Dont ask me where it came from but it is a definite help with seeing air. Get the chemical resistant clear line from most auto parts stores if it persists to see it. If you want theft prevention, put in a ball valve to shut it off and hold pressure! I could just see that, guy gets in the truck to steal it and gets 200 feet away and it dies....lmao! i dont know what is more funny though, that part or a guy actually stealing my truck hahahaha
