Help: 2004 Navigator 4wd air dryer/compressor lines

Hello Navigator owners,

Am under the hood replacing failed OEM compressor with Arnott Industries model. Aftermarket model comes with dryer and compressor.

My navigator is 4 wheel drive model. Yet, there is one air line only into the one and only port on the OEM dryer. *This OEM dryer was installed at dealer in Nov. 07, along with entire system--shocks, struts, etc. all under warranty.
This new, aftermarket dryer has 4 ports, with accompanying plugs. Plug 2 holes for 4wd models, plug 3 holes for 2wd models.

Question: Why does my 4wd dryer have only one port hole from dealer? Model year change perhaps? Or, did they install wrong dryer in 2007?

Insights greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

J.D. Baker

Update post: Arnott Industries dryer/compressor replacement

To all considering replacement of air compressor/dryer:
In the process of my compressor expiring, it made an awful loud noise, bracket rattling, etc. Many glares and gasps at school and grocery parking lot.
Good news: saved a bunch from what dealer wanted for replacement by ordering replacement compressor from Arnott. Completed install today. Not terribly difficult of a job; patience & care mostly, to remove battery, battery tray, then windshield washer reservoir, then bracket, then compressor from bracket.
*2004 models and up (2wd & 4wd) with OEM equipment have one port in dryer. Arnott comes with 4 ports with plugs for the 3 ports not to be used.
Works great and mercifully quiet.
136k on the clock and the 5.4 Triton running strong.

Best,
