Help..2002 f250 no acceleration

What engine do you have? I know on the diesels its common for the wire going to the gearshifter to rub and cause a short. This will take out the go pedal and cluster lights. If this is the case you need to remove the shroud around the steering wheel and find the short then replace the fuse. It's fuse # 45 on diesel trucks. I'm not sure if it's the same on gas engines.

Better pull those codes. Anyone you can borrow an OBD reader from? If not, they aren't too expensive, maybe $100 for a half-decent one.
