I have had the cps recall done and never had any problems, but yesterday it cut off for a split second in the morning right after i started it up. Later it stalled and I looked down and saw no light on my dp tuner. I pulled over and it started right up. On my Excursion the cps acted this way before I changed it.
We are going to the beach to get our camper this weekend and I'm concerned it may happen again. I have also never had any uvch issues and wonder if there is a way to distinguish between the problems.
I would take a look at the chip to make sure it is secured on the PCM. When they get loose they can cause those issues. Also check the cable to the switcher.
Okay, easy enough. also i pulled the codes and only 1 came up. P1119 Manf Air Temperature Sensor High Input, but that might be something else.. I did notice the dog house was leaking a bit.

Thanks
This is what my truck just started doing. I automatically thought that it was the cps. Changed it out with a brand new black one and so far so good. Haven't driven it a lot so far though. If your problem continues pull the covers and check the harnesses. If I have time this weekend I am going to do that.
