What symptoms are you having? I see a lot of people change them out when they are not the problem.

I had an old black one that I had gotten off of ebay just go bad on me. It would just die for no reason. Once while taking off from a light. At least she started back up and went but what a pain. Put in a brand spanky new one and no problems so far.

I would investigate a loose UVCH based on that bit of information. Also wouldn't hurt to check fuel pressure. How old is the oil you are running?

UVCH ? hmmm the oil is over due cause I thought it might be that too . When it started acting up I pulled over and checked the oil and I'm ashamed to say it was realy low so I put a gallon in to bring up the levels , but it still ran crap for quite a while and then stopped and ran fine ..on my way home from work it ran great 3/4 of the way home then started acting up again ...

Never thought about the UVCH. I have stopped driving the truck due to company car. Will have to take a look at that just to make sure that isn't the problem. Might as well tighten every thing up in there while I'm in there. Sounds like a project for this weekend maybe. Thanks guys'

If your oil is over due, you may consider changing it first. Dirty oil has caused many people issues with rough running and intermittent issues.

Ken not sure if you were talking to me or not, but my oil never goes over the time it is due by more than a couple hundred miles if that. I change my oil religiously. Kinda **** that way.

No. That was in reference to the OP statement about being overdue and low quantity.
