95 tranny issues

95 tranny issues

I have 95 f250 powerstroke recently noticed od light started flashing coming home from work last friday. Once I got home checked tranny fluid it was about a quart low but couldnt find any noticable leaks. When I checked the codes a tran fluid temp sensor circuit high input and a tranny overtemp codition. Topped off fluid and light quit and returned this evening and when checking fluid it was full.

The code means that either the trans fluid temp sensor or the wiring to the sensor is bad. The sensor is mounted on the solenoid body inside the pan.
