87, 5.0, O2 sensor ???

87, 5.0, O2 sensor ???
It a 87 Mercury cougar XR7 5.0. And the O2 sensors are hard to get too. I have the socket but it will not move! Put some heat on it or warm the motor up any idea's or pointers here????

I've been in your situation with O2's. Try heat and warming the exhaust up. Try soaking with PB Blaster when you are not heating them.
I've stripped 2 vehicles' O2's when removing them. There was NO other way to remove them. I used a spark plug chaser to rethread.
