Sometimes you don't have a choice.

I've got the remote and tripod. How long was your exposure? I was thinking of trying 20-30 seconds per.

I just looked up the settings on the picture and they were:
Exposure: 1/2s
ISO: 1600
F/:4.2

It seems like there was other settings I played with as well like white balance and a couple others but I can't remember what they were. I just kept taking pictures and tried to find what looked best. That was the best but here was a couple that I almost got but failed.

One half second? Geez... you got lucky! Most of what I've read recommends much longer exposures and lower ISO. But hey... if it works...

Well... I'd like to take a photo of it someday. I was nearly struck by it years ago. Scary stuff.

Mine for today. Mom was nervous, him being that close to the water.

Mine for today, seeing as how we're being teased by spring-like weather. It's 50 here today and it's supposed to hit 60 tomorrow. Might break a record set in 1880!

Thanks Guys. Even the blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then.

fixnair, that is one interesting, creepy looking... whatever it is. Where is that?

A few more in the spirit of spring and rooting for the lovable losers. The last one isn't the clearest but if you look closely you can see the ball right at their fingertips. Shot from behind the 3rd base dugout, the ball is coming down about 20 rows up behind the 1st base dugout.

Took these two last night while adding loom around my new amp power cable. My little helper after the older ones where in bed.

Shortly after this photo after I shooded her away I caught her in the paper stack. Crawled thru the rocking chair and did not want to let go of the paper, even after I turned the chair sideways some to get a photo.
