exhaust

I have a 1988 ford F250 with the 460 big block and i dont know what kind of exhaust to do i wanna do something that idles low but loud when push the gas and i want something that good for performnce wise too

for an old truck like that you cant go wrong with flowmaster. That 460 would sound mean with a set of flows.

Magnaflow. Much better flow and they don't rust away after a few years!!

The fact that Magnaflows are stainless made me go that way.

i have always always loved the sound of a big block with thrush turbo welded mufflers and turndowns, it idles nice and quiet and is relatively quiet under low throttle but when you open it up it is loud

where you are at is there Emissions and do you require a CAT ? I have run just a high flow CAT in 3" single exhaust and no muffler ! and then with muffler to quiet it down !

I made a adapter to eliminate the factory CAT and used 3" tubing and bought a muffler from NAPA that was a straight through design and it was like 7" in diameter in the body !
