Under dash interior lights hook up

Under dash interior lights hook up
I just aquired the harness and lights for the under dash interior lights. It has been so cold that I haven't gotten to dig into my dash yet, could you guys tell me if there should be 2 connectors for the lights that are unused under there, On the harness, there are 2 connectors that are tied together I don't know if I need to use both because I think one is suppose to tie into the cab roof light harness. I don't have the roof marker lights on my truck. It is a 1978 F250 4x4. I know this was talked about a few weeks ago, but I can't seem to fine it.
