Just in the last week, the right side indicator flashes at twice the speed of the left. Is this caused by a bad ground? I did have a problem with my rear right tail light being water logged til I drilled a small hole in the bottom of the lense but I did that back in the early summer. Could corrosion from that water be causing me the super fast blinks??

Thanx for any and all help....

Typically that means a bulb is out.
however, it also happens when the flasher is overloaded
(ie: turn signal on a vehicle w/o heavy duty flasher with a trailer)
so it could be a short in the socket you are having problems with too.

So, put on the turn signal, do a walk around.
A trick is to put ON the parking lights. the front has 2 bulbs
one in the front and the side marker. Often the side marker
doesn't blink and that can cause the rapid blinking.
With the parking lights (and headlights) on, the 2 front bulbs
blink alternatively so it's easier to tell if 1 isn't working.

I've heard from various different people that when one turn signal starts blinking faster then the other then its because the one that is blinking fast is about to burn out. Not sure how true this is though.
