if i were to put the billet oil and fuel filter caps on my truck that had a 1/4 npt adapter for gauges. would the readings be accurate for the oil pressure and fuel pressure. also the ebp sensors clip broke so the plug that plugs into the sensor will not stay plugged in. would that cause the turbo to over spin and make it sound like it is going to plow the pipes right off of it?

To answer one queston idk if the fuel pressure will be right but most everyone does there fuel pressure sender at the test port located on the bottom side of the bowl. the oil pressure will be accurate as far as i know

i do know about the test port but on ebay you can get the two caps cheaper if you buy the pair and if they were an accurate reading then y not use them. i do know that if the seal on the fuel cap is broken then it will blow out alot of fuel there so it seems possible for u to get a good reading there but i figured an expert would know more than i.
I believe you can overboost w/ a biased EBP sensor. I would get the connector changed as soon as you can.
ok i wasnt for sure if thats what it was but i knew i didnt have a turbo leak cause i have checked for them and when i put it under a load going down the road is where it gets loud and seems like it is over boosting but i do not know for sure cause i do not have a gauge.

There is a fuel pressure test port on the engine fuel filter bowl that most of us use for a gage connection. I believe there is an oil pressure test port on front of the oil cooler that can be used for an oil pressure gage connection.
Here is a link to the mods I did on my truck. I didn't do the fuel filter cap, only oil fill and filter caps that came with the Oil Guard system, but I did modify the filter cap and use it for EOT sensor.
