vaccum pump removal

I have a 1995 f250 powerstroke and am wondering how to remove the vaccum pump

remove serpentine belt remove pulley with special puller (can be rented at parts store) remove vacuum hose, remove mount bolts, install pump use press bolt to install pulley

3 10MM bolts is all that holds it on. Although the pulley is pressed on. Not a and job at all just did mine in December.

Welcome to FTE.

Remove the serpentine belt. There will be three 10mm bolts to remove along with the 5/16" hose from the pump to the vacuum manifold. R and R the pulley using a pulley puller / installer (may be available at the parts store or they may do it for you). Place the bolts in the new pump before the installation of the pulley. Attach the hose (inspect to see if you need to replace it) to the new pump. Bolt it up. Reinstall the belt.
