As I found out in the other thread above you might be able to bring it to shop like Advanced or Zone and they may removal and install your old pulley on your new pump. IF YOU GO THAT ROUTE: make sure you put the bolts in before installing new pulley (if not you will not be able to put 2 of the bolts back in). 4. If you do it yourself, get the power steering removal tool now. Pull the pulley off (as per directions with the tool).
Look at the new pump. You will see a raised ring on the shaft down low. That ring is stop the pulley there. If you drive the pulley on with a hammer you will drive that ring in to the bearing and your new pump will now be a cheep core for your next new pump b/c it is ruined. 5. Now install the pulley on the new pump (as per directions with the tool). 6. Reattach the vacuum hose and clamp. 7. Line up the pump to the holes and screw all three bolts in half way before you drive them in any further (if not the pulley will hit the bolts). Tighten all 3 bolts back down 17-24 foot lbs or "good n snug" (Thanks Robb) 8. Put belt back on 9. Clean up tools and area 10. Test drive to the beer store.
