This just poped up on the Superduty forum:

"Looking into super duty
Hey guys

I am looking into getting a diesel. I'm new to the forum and would like to introduce myself and ask for advice and info.

I currently have a 1500 GMC Sierra. 2015 slt 5.3 4x4 and it'sAnd a nice truck, very nice. However it has its flaws I haven't had any of the major problems people report but it lags when shift in the first couple of gears other than that it's sound. I've sank money into it and it's lifted etc.

but

I love diesel I have never owned one my 1500 gasser was my first truck purchase new and I didn't do a lot of research I jumped the gun a bought it. I never test drive a ford however I drove a super duty once and it was awesome. I currently do not own any heavy equipment nor tow anything regularly. I just want the truck to have as a daily driver and a JIC if I need to tow. I have heard upkeep is expensive and so is oil changes which I think if you change the oil and all every 15,000 miles it equals out the same
price as a gasser every 5,000.

I know now I will be criticized and I expect that but I recently purchased land and I plan on building a house in the next 3 years or so. Currently in my situation I could afford to buy a diesel but if I did it would be my last purchase for a very long time. I want to know what everyone thinks of these new 2017 super dutys are they worth it? I watched videos and the interior looks way nicer than the duramax and I heard the power stroke 6.7 is a better engine correct me if im
wrong here.

Ive also looked into 2016s but like the 2017 better. Trim
options im looking at the lariat maybe the value package or ultimate that's another thing I want you guys to share with me, is the ultimate package worth the extra 4k or no?

Also so is it the same price if you order online through the dealer and have it shipped so you get exactly what you want? Is this a better option?

I appreciate ate all the advice and info and I am open to any and all questions thanks!"

If you spy a team of approaching horses, you are required by law to pull to the side of the road and cover your car with a blanket or dust cover that has been painted or sewn to blend into the scenery. But, if the horses react skittish to your efforts, you are then required to disassemble your car and hide the parts in the nearby underbrush. ha ha ha Dam I must now run out and pull my car apart theres a horse coming....

But only in Pennsylvania. You're in the clear.

Does not apply to The Land of Fruits and Nuts.
