I have a 2002 Ranger 2 wd that is throwing error code 733 and 735, wrong RPM, low presure, no 3 d gear or O/D ,O/D flashing. Will shift into D from 1st or 2nd. Did valve body seperator fix from ford, ss 1-4 ok tcc ok

how does it shift when you start out with the shifter in 1st gear and then when you get going say around 10 mph then shift to drive position ? if it works better then the separator plate and shift kit would be good !
Fish around in this part of the forum. There is a LARGE series of posts on the auto's. There is also a section for transmissions further down the list of forums with lots of info.
That said, from what you posted, you have already replaced the separator plate with the new bonded gasket model, right?
The EPC is the pressure control solenoid, and if it doesn't work, I don't think you will get good apply pressure. That leads to slippage, heat, and degradation of the frictions and steels. Do the other solenoids click when you use the 9-volt?

Yes I did the separator plate, yes the ss1-4 click also the tcc. I read that the EPC will not click it's variable? so I don't know on that. may try a valve body rebuild? Thanks for your reply.
