Mysterious Fluid Leak?
I have a 05 Ford Expedition and it was in an accident in December. I still do not have the truck back from being repaired. I picked it up last week and drove it home, it sat in the driveway overnight. When my husband took it to work the next morning there were two different colored fluids under the front hood area in the driveway. One was a dark black color and the other was a fluorescent green color. I took it back to the shop and they told me they turned the truck on for an hour and let cardboard sit underneath it and NOTHING leaked out. The guy also told me that there are no such fluids in my car that would be those colors and that my trans fluid is orange. Any thoughts or suggestions, we both saw the puddle.

I would guess that the fluids are antifreeze (green), & oil (black). It could be that oil and antifreeze were caught in the frame or similar area because of the accident and drained on the ground when you got home. Most driveways are built on a slant and the change in angle may have allowed them to run out. When the shop lets it run on the flat parking lot they see nothing.
There is a good chance there is no existant leak. You may have to get it back and keep checking for a few days. Keeping an eye on the fluid levels.
I was surprised to hear that your trans fluid was orange, I have only seen red.
I also hate when people tell you that you must be lying about what you saw.
