Charging system issue

I recently Put an after market high output (240 amp) alternator on my '03 EB Expy. Now unless I'm loading it down heavily with my 10,000 watt audio system the voltage is at about 14.5 at idle unloaded...my charging system thinks it being overcharged, i assume, due to the fact that my "check charging system" tutorial flickers constantly at anything above idle. but in reality this alternator is doing what it was designed to do. Can I do anything to reset what the ECM is looking for as a good voltage status?

Has it thrown a code? Do you THINK it thinks it is overcharging, or do you know?

14.5V shouldn't be out of the range of the existing electronics, that is exactly what my stock truck reads at idle.
