11.1 in start, but it just clicks quickly and won't turn over?
13V sitting is okay but with only 13V and the engine running at idle, I personally don't think the alternator is up to snuff.
This shows the alternator is doing -nothing- at idle, or the regulator is bad.
My battery sits at 13.27V engine off and 14.65 while charging. (I do have a 130A 3G alternator though)
It doesn't start lol. That's the problem. Plenty of voltage at batt and both sides of solenoid, but no response from the starter. Which tested good three days ago.
With a jump it will make a half *** effort to crank. Like a slow 1/4 turn. That's it. Hasn't ran in three weeks.
It isn't the people, the machine just can't test for a load when it just free spins. You can do similar by hooking it up to a boost charger and spin it that way, but it can't tell you what it does under a load. If the rear bushing or front bushing are bad, it can still free spin ok, but as soon as it has a load on it, the shaft gets pushed sideways, and will crash into the magnets or windings.
I dont know that we have ever got around to checking the ground. Quick, easy check. Put one voltmeter lead on B- and one on the engine block. Read the voltage WHILE CRANKING OR TRYING TO CRANK. This will tell you the voltage drop of your ground circuit, it should be 1v or less.

I replaced the ground cable but I will double check it when my brother gets here later.
I would change out the starter to at least a different one if not new. You have enough power to turn it so if you can spin it by hand then that starter has to be crap!
