Hey guys I have a 03 f350 and want to level the front end I googled it and seen a short spring stack 2.5 in for like $131.00 is that good deal or what do I need to do this the right way? And help is greatly appreciated
I have a 2 1/2" Tuff country leveling kit on my truck.It came with an adjustable drop track bar bracket,u-bolts,spring packs[$275-$300].Some of the cheaper kits have really short springs and no drop bracket.It rides a little rougher,but is great when I have my snowplow on.They also make spring hanger bracket lift kits.They keep the factory ride.

Some ppl say that they didn't need to do anything with the track bar... Is this true ? I'm not sure thats why I ask u guys lol
Ideally, you want the track bar and the drag link parallel to one another.With the drop bracket they stay parallel.Not to say, it won't be ok without it though.

Yea, those are the trucks you follow behind on the highway and notice their front and rear wheels don't line up in the same track. Though I doubt the resulting offset would be that noticeable on a 2.5" lift, probably only 1/2" or so. But on a big lift it will make quite a difference.
Not installing a track bar drop bracket or adjustable bar will increase bumpsteer and will cause your truck to wander and not track straight. This can also lead to premature wearing of your front end parts like tires, ball joints, tie-rod ends etc..
Spend the money to do it correctly and make sure you have a quality alignment done afterwards, and i dont mean just a toe-in and steering wheel adjustment.
It took 2 new camber/caster adjusters to correct my steering and a very good alignment shop.It drives down the road better than when new.I agree most alignment shops set the toe and don't even check or adjust the caster/camber.
