I have a 66 stepside that I have done numberous things to, all but add power steering, I have a column, all the brackets, the pump, everthing needed, all but the steering box itself. I would like to know from anyone who has been there and done it, what year of box would work for me??? I myself was thinking somewhere around 75, but hey that's why I'm asking, I'm not sure, I haven't really done much checking. I kinda forgot about it when my wife said " if you had power steering on here I'd drive it" don't think so... Anyway how about some answers, thanks...
Hello Wayno, Welcome to our porch, pull up a chair and set a spell, we talk about a lot of things here and power steering is one of em. Any gear 79 and back will work in your truck. 75 is good.
Hey thanks John, I thought the 75 would work, but like I said, I'd rather here it from someone whose has been there and done it... I've been reading a few post and I think it's safe to say there's alot of talking going on around here, a little of this and a little of that, Glad I found this site and joined, hope to talk to you and the rest of the gang alot more in the future, thanks again for the reply... I hope the porch has a real cool shady spot on it
