Raising steering box?

Hi guys,

I've lowered my 70 f100 using the djm beams, but it's not quite low enough, I think I'm going to bag it, looks like all I'd need to do in the front is notch the cross member to allow the i beams to travel, notch the frame up front and move the bump stops up, and of course notch the back. The issue I'm running into is the steering box. Not sure what options I have for this? I'm afraid it'll take major surgery, i.e., custom steering shaft and different steering box. I'd sure like to keep the stock steering shaft. PS I don't have power steering and don't intend on going that way with it, though that could be one possible solution (to go to rack and pinion). Can I z the pitman arm? I also found this Wizard Fabrication I Steer Clear Offset Steering Coupler | 916-736-0110 anyone used it. Let me know what you think. Thanks. When I'm done I'll have ~6" of drop with air bags inflated and 8" drop bags deflated.

Do not cut the pitman arm if you want to live.

Rack n pinion won't work because of epic bumpsteer... the I beams and tie rods would have to have nearly the same pivot point.

If you want to go lower, then the CV subframe swap is your next step.

Do you know what you're doing?
