Hey everyone. I have my billiard ball shift **** installed on my 78 now. I couldnt upload pics on the thread but i think i have some pics on my profile somewheres. I've been thinking about getting it painted to match my truck. have the ball the same pearl blue metallic as my truck and fade my shift pattern on the top of the ball from silver to orange like the stripe on my dent will be. cool or what?

thats the problem. I'd probably just use my original one 95% of the time and put that one on when i go to a show or something.

I wonder if you could use an enamel of some sort.

I'm probably gonna use the same exact stuff as my trucks exterior paint.
The hardest part is getting my gear pattern painted on it and faded from silver to the burnt orange

I bet you could paint the ball with whatever kind of paint you wanted and then dip it in clear resin.

Heck, you could probably even dip it in clearcoat a few times and get decent results.
