I've seen one with a wrecker body but had similar paint/decals. There can't have been more that a few made.
If those decals are original, then that thing must be kept inside. Notice how the stripes are red and orange. The red has faded on all the Indy trucks I've seen around, including mine, so that it just looks like a single orange stripe.
THAT is cool. There was an Indy package with that paint scheme, but if that thing's real then it must have been a one-off (you couldn't order a wrecker from Ford).
I'm quite sure that the bed didn't come from FOMOCO. But they may have "prepped" it after the bed was installed by a bed installer. If it is real, and it was used at Indy, Ford may have put the decals etc. on it (or paid someone else to do it for them) for their promo at the track.....Would be real interesting to know the story if that is the case. And if it is "real" I'm sure the thing is almost priceless........You dont see a lot of "restored" duallys that are in that nice of shape!!!!!!!!!! Or maybe the guy just replicated one that he had seen or that was used at the track back in the day.........

I tried waiting at lowes for him to come out. I waited for half hour had to get back. to work. I will keep and eye out for it so I can talk to him
You waited for a half hour and the douchebag parked his truck in front of the door like that in a no parking zone none the less and he still hadn't come out? Should of checked the managers office, he clearly owns the store parking like that.
