I remember an old man, coming over to me in my old 66 I had,,, it had a 300 I6 Offy 4bbl and Heddman dual outlet/split manifold headers,,, a unique sound,, he listened to it and remembered taking the stock manifolds and MAKING them split for the sound,, cool,,, and having had pickups ALL my life,, ya just kinda get used to it,,,some ya help, some ya don't,,, BEER is always a GREAT bribe for help,,,
