my buddy said it seems like pluged cats but when i crank it over air comes out the tail pipe so?? dont know 3 cats = 2500 *&%ck.still think it might be the pcm.
if it was the cats it would run poor all the time I would think. Also when the cats plug they get super hot.Did you replace the lower intake gaskets?Another question for you to check into is maybe your cats are still under warranty from Ford.
You have one or more coil packs that have gone bad. Find out which cylinder or cylinders are misfiring and change out the coil packs.
If you keep running the vehicle with these bad packs, you will ultimately ruin your catalytic converter because of all the unburned fuel getting into it.
The running rough in the rain is a dead give away that one or more of your coil packs have gone bad. Or one of your ignition wires is shorting out. This only happens in damp, rainy, humid weather.
Been there, so I know what I am talking about. Luckily I had the packs changed out before permanent damage was done to the cats..
