February 2011, almost Spring!!
I had 2 stored codes, P0541 which is the AIH, which has been deleted and a P0603 which is internal control module KAM error, according to the guy who pulled the codes.
I couldn't get the trans to replicate what it did yesterday. Not really sure. No trans codes were stored, no flashing OD light, nothing.
Just got off the phone with the trans shop, he did some checking on the codes and came back with the KAM error, it is possible that it had something to do with the trans issue in that if there were a voltage spike, or drop, it might affect the trans converter lock up and/or shifting. This is all new info to him, he called someone who know about this stuff, apparently. He also has changed his whole tone from when I first walked in to his shop today, from trying to be a hard @$$ to actually wanting to work with me on this.
This all has me wondering now if it has something to do with what happened on Monday evening. I took my daughter to dance, and on the way home, once I turned off the highway on to the road I live on, I got no response from the throttle for a second or 2, and then it just took off. It was really weird, has never happened before and hasn't since. I guess all I can really do now is drive it for a while and check the codes again, to see if the P05603 comes back.
Good luck on the truck Mike.
Hope the sleds are good to go Dave.
Hope to have mine mostly back together tonight. I will take help if anyone is available...
Lynn is doing well and "might" get to come home today. Keep her in your prayers please.
Thanks.
Tell Lynn hi from us and we will keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

Hey Jay.

Back to square 1 it seems.............
Mike, is it possible it could be a throttle possition sensor or cam sensor that is acting up and making the computer do goofy things. I probably am way off, but a thought.
. Believe it or not, the weather only plays a small role in the decision... The lack of garage space, or rather, a warm place where I could store and monkey with my cars; lack of a race track (haven't seen one in almost 5 years) and taxes are probably the main reasons... I will keep the townhouse I have now though (not gonna be able to sell it for a few years), and if I don't find renters, I'll probably be back out here for vacations...
Found a house in Phx that pretty much addresses most of those issues (read: big garage, rv gate, and 8 miles from the track) and the mustang's KBB value would pretty much be a 15% downpayment... Gotta love a badly hit housing market
But until enough snow thaws off so that people can even test drive the mustang, no chance of selling it, haha.I had 2 stored codes, P0541 which is the AIH, which has been deleted and a P0603 which is internal control module KAM error, according to the guy who pulled the codes.

Good news! Lynn is now home!!! Yeah!

I am going to go snowmobiling this weekend but Lynn will need to stay home the doctor says. And no she wasn't going out sledding but they said she shouldn't be that far from a hospital yet just in case.

Your welcome Jay! Hopefully the rest of the healing goes smoothly!

I had actually thought about the TPS (sucks that you have to replace the whole pedal assembly) might be the culprit, after the brief no throttle input the other day. Could very well be the CPS as well.
After this last week or so I wouldn't mind a visit to a warmer climate for a while
Well that stinks...

Yes it does.......

That's great news!!!!

Hope she heals up quickly without any more setbacks.
Pretty much.
Just going to drive it and see if it will do it again.
Trans fluid is right where it should be and still very nice and bright pink, so if something is slipping it isn't discoloring the fluid at all. It also has almost no smell to it, so no burning going on either.
