You may think I am nuts for this thought, but I should have pulled it into my shop and pulled the fuel line and used the air compressor to blow air back into the tank. I have fixed many of tractors that way, but alot of them did. not have fuel pumps.


The other thing Dave did not mention is may be going through alot of fuel. I followed him alot and did not smell any raw fuel though.

 

I was pretty sure it was the fuel pump when Dave left, now I am kicking myself for not just pulling it in the shop and trying a couple of things while it was here. We would of at least had a spot to try it out. Sorry Dave.

 

Well, I wasn't looking for the plugs Jay, so I can't say for sure.

It's seems like a good idea to check regardless.

 

Still using lots of fuel?

Yeah Jay, that was throwing me off. It seemed like I was going through to much gas. But it didn't smell that way at all...

 

We should also check what size main jets are in there. That can make a big difference too

 

I looked when I had them out but I can't remember now...

Jay glad to hear about Lynn and Mike, that is good news......Sounds like you close to getting your sled fixed and hopefully still come up next weekend. I do have another backup if you need to use Lynn's , just let me know.....
