Canopies?

Howdy! Just wondering if anyone has any feed back around Canopies they have for their trucks. What sort of Canopy do you own and has it stood up to your requirements? I am not sold on any particular brand yet, still shopping as they are pretty pricey. I have a colour matched ******** toneau cover and love it but limits what I can do.

Any pictures or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Do you mean a soft tonneau?
Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - MCDavis's Album: Truxedo TruXport
There's my album for the Truxedo TruXport that I purchased back in November. For the price and the functionality, I'm pretty happy.

Here's my thread about it:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...installed.html

It is very similar to some of the products from Extang and Access. All are worthy products.

I have a hard cover by A.R.E. It not only looks good, but the function is great. Keeps everything dry under it.

That is a realy cool top! Dang that would look good on any rig. I personally am looking at a LEER type of canopy, fibreglass and and colour matched to the truck.
Thanks for sharing that link though...great idea!!

Check out ARE also. I have a Z-Series on my '06 SCREW and love it. I have owned Leer, Covermaster and ARE and the only two choices are Leer and ARE. Check out both of their websites. I have pics of my truck on ARE's site.

Also get the carpeted headliner in the shell as it cuts down on glare from cars behind you. Even with hauling dogs it is worth it. I haul around wet duck hunting gear all fall and winter and I do not have a smell in mine. Add in all the fishing stuff in the summer and the carpet still works.

Good luck in your search.

I bought my ARE and BedRug combo so our 2 labs had a nice "doghouse" when we go camping.

I highly recommend both products.

WOW!! I love the ARE. I already have the bed Line-x'd and love the bed rug to go on top...so here is the question I am dreading.......how much? Sorry to get financially personal...but I just got to know so I can start doing some "Wife maintenance" between now and the day I bring it home on top of "her" truck. LOL!

Yeah... it's not exactly a cheap set-up.

The cap is $1900 give or take and the BedRug is about $375 or so. With installation you'd probably be right around $2500.

I would recommend having the cap installed by an authorized dealer since you might run into warranty problems otherwise. Not that you will have any problems with it but you never know.

Good luck with her truck and that maintenance.
