Tow Mirrors

Has any ever tried or seen Newer 1999 + F250/350 Mirrors in the Vent Window Area of our style trucks. It would have to be a custom job

Ive seen pictures of someone who did a long time ago. They welded over the vent window area and put the tow mirror on. I honestly thought it looked horrible.

You want a tow style mirror you can buy some tow mirror heads and the shaft and put them on the manual mirror frame and it works good.

You can just use the old style Tri-pod mirrors, be alot easier anyways. And they look great on older trucks.

Fdude, I had those on my 76 and loved them. When my father ordered his 84 we ordered a set from Ford like the ones on the 76 and they would not fit. I can't remember exactly why but I think the 84 had more of a slant to the side. They sure would have looked good. Ended up keeping RV mirrors (Like them too).

^Personally not a fan of that type of mirror. Had those on an old F250, and while they provide an excellent view to the rear, they give you a bad blind spot looking forward to the left or right. And god forbid you hit something with them!

The bigger the mirror, the more reward visibility you have but the bigger the blind spot they make looking forward
