There should be a card in your owners manual. If there is not, read this thread. Be sure to read to the middle of the thread as someone found where it is hidden (as it changed from the previous years).

We have an '07 L and I love it.

The code for the keyless was easy to find at our local dealership. The days of them being hidden in the vehicle seem to be gone.

Gas mileage? Better than the 460 in my '97 F250!

We also just got a 07 Navigator last week. It's Blue and has 36-K miles. It has every option possible. I did preferred the center console in the 2'nd row but the deal was too great to pass so we settled for the bench. We stole it off the ford lot for $29.5K and I was able to get an extra $1000 for our old 97 expedition from haggling. Our mileage with winter gas is about 13 for town driving which includes a warm up. I was able to get 18 when I reset the cpu on the highway. We absolutely love this beast.

I however am envious of the Sync system. Does anyone know if Sync can be added to the older units with modifications or some sort of software/hardware purchase?

Thx...Rich <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

You would spend big bucks trying to add Sync if it can even be done. For $600 you can get this system which others have purchased and installed.

So back to got2befast's original questions...

I think there are numerous posts in this forum on where the codes reside for the keyless entry system. I was fortunate that the PO left the card in the console...

Gas mileage - I get around 15-16 in town and 18-19 on the road (65-70 not towing) in 2WD. Mileage is worse during winter months due to the fuel they sell. I've also found that name brand fuels give me around .4-.5 MPG better mileage. Also the fuels with 10% ethanol are good for about a 1-3 MPG drop.

All in all not bad for a 6500+ lb. vehicle w/4WD. You don't say if yours is 2WD or 4WD...

Improving the MPG? Not much you can do. Drive gently. All kinds of gimmicks out there but if you read all of these forums there's no magic elixr that's going to do much for you.

B/R,
Randy
