replacing blower..

anyone have any tips on replacing the blower motor in an 03? it is under the dash correct??

are you sure its the blower and not a burnt out resistor block ?

i have never taken a blower motor out of a F150... last blower i did was a chevy and it was behind the glove box... burn off motor lead due to bad resistor failure.

the resistor is only about 4 months old. the motor makes a little noise and trys to run when you kick under the glove box.

lay on your back and look up behind the glove box. the chebby i worked on pipped out with 3 screws.. dont know about the F150. You might be able to spray the bearings or put a few drops of oil in it, and reuse.
