Just wondering, what exactly is your question? These pumps are basically all the same, in '93 or '94 some of them had an extra adjusting screw that went along with the turbo.
Other than that, the other differences are the sensor's for the trannies, none for standards, and two different ones for the C6 and the E40D. Never done it myself, but I think they can be swapped fairly easily.
I have a injection pump from a 1989 7.3 IDI non turbo 2wd od trans.
There is an add which I responded to where the guy is looking for an injection pump for his 7.3 IDI 1991 non turbo.
He was told by others that only an ip from a 1991 or 92 would work,
Im looking to see if this is fact and my 1989 7.3 ip will not work on his 1991 7.3 as they are differant.

The 1989 WILL WORK with the 1991! No Changes...
may need to swap over the sensors from the 91 to go on the 89 pump if it has an E4od trans.

Reason: more info.
when calling stanadyne and some rebuilders, any db2 series will fit a 6.9 or 7.3 pump, all you will need is to swap on the shift controller for C6's or E4OD, and call it good. I have a 1985 IP and it is identical to my pump in every way. DB2 is the same pump regardless of year, only diff is the torque screw adjustment for turbos from late 92-94.
I wandering if you can help me? I have a 89 f350 4x4 automatic with 38 inch super swampers .7.3 non turbo IdI. how do i turn up the pump? and what does flats mean??

How about using the search function? Turning up the pump has been discussed many times.
Flats means one side of an allen wrench, or 1/6 of a turn, 60 degrees.
